„Climate change is happening, Climate change is impacting and transforming, Climate change is requiring science“ was the MOTTO of international meeting organized by Polish Academy of Sciences and Leopoldina. The meeting attended scientists from 45 countries, and discussed the pressing issue of changing climate and potential solutions.
Czech Republic and Czech Academy of Sciences was represented by our colleague Dr. Alexander Ač, who participated in the discussion „Climate change and water cycle“. Participants presented their statements related to current knowledge of climate change impacts on water cycling, biodiversity, and related impacts on human infrastructure and societies.
Main outcome of the conference will be the „COMMUNIQUÉ“ summarizing most important topics discussed at the meeting, and will be presented towards broader public and policymakers. It will be available next Monday. For more information check: https://europeanclimateconference.eu/
